DTECH universal USB 2.0 to RS422 RS485 Converter
This DTECH universal USB 2.0 to RS422 RS485 converter requires no external power supply and is compatible with USB 2.0, RS422, and RS485 standards. It converts single ended USB signals to balanced differential RS422/RS485 signals, providing 600W surge protection per line and mitigating surge voltages caused by various factors. Its minimal inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed transmission for the RS422/RS485 interface. The RS422 and RS485 ends connect via a DB9 male connector. The converter features internal zero-delay automatic transmit/receive switching, and its unique I/O circuitry automatically controls the data flow direction without requiring any handshake signals (such as RTS, DTR, etc.). It achieves full-duplex (RS422) and half-duplex (RS485) mode switching without jumper settings, offering plug-and-play functionality. It is compatible with all existing communication software and interface hardware.
USB to RS422 RS485 interface converters provide reliable connections for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. For point-to-multipoint connections, each converter can connect up to 256 RS422 or RS485 interface devices. Data communication rates range from 300 to 3,000,000 bps. Power and data flow indicators show fault conditions. Supported communication methods include RS422 and RS485.
